Aura Investments is an independent art-patronage project. It began in New York City and now welcomes artists and property owners from all over the world. We connect property owners who have vacant homes with artists and creatives who have volunteered to temporarily occupy them — bringing life, presence, and a little aura to spaces that would otherwise sit empty.
It's a simple idea with a long lineage: for centuries, patrons gave artists the space and time to make their work. We're a modern, lighthearted take on that tradition — a meeting place between people with space to spare and people with work to make.
We are an art project and an introduction service, and nothing more. We are not a financial or investment company, a real-estate brokerage, or a landlord. Despite our name, we do not offer investments or financial services of any kind. Any arrangement between an artist and a property owner is entirely their own.
